Dr. Joseph Soon

Dr Joseph Soon joined DaVita as the President for APAC and Head of Global Business Development, in September 2018. Dr Soon brings a wealth of experience in leading both public and private healthcare businesses across outpatient care, dental provision, Chinese medicine and consumer health. He joined DaVita from Bupa, the international medical insurance company as the Global Digital Director, he is leading the DigitALL agenda across the Group, including the partnership with Health Tap. He was the CEO of Quality HealthCare (part of Bupa), Hong Kong largest private healthcare provider, with a clinic network over 100 clinics..

Prior to joining Quality HealthCare, Dr Soon was the General Manager of Raffles Medical Group, Singapore’s largest private healthcare provider, leading the Raffles Medical Group’s Primary Care business unit in Singapore. He spent over 10 years at Singapore’s National Healthcare Group, a leading provider of public healthcare, where he held a number of portfolios including operations, strategic planning and business development.
